ICTSF
Since our founding in 2008, the ICTSF has brought together nations and athletes in the spirit of competitive excellence and sportsmanship in the shotgun sports of DTL and ESP. We oversee the official rules, coordination, and hosting of World Championship events that rotate each year and across hemispheres:

Our mission is to unite international clay target communities, offering every participating country a voice in how Championships are run. Most events follow the respected CPSA Rulebook (Booklet No.1), with minor adaptations tailored to each competition.

Get to know the dedicated individuals leading the ICTSF
ICTSF President
John Martin - England
John has served as President of the ICTSF since 2023. He has over 40 yearsâ experience in shooting and target sports and is Chairman of the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) in England. He is a qualified CPSA Coach, Trainer, Safety Officer, and Referee. John and his labrador Kenji are actively involved at shooting grounds and competitions, engaging with shooters to gain insight into their viewpoints while continuously striving to promote a positive image of shooting.
With a Doctorate in Psychology, John has vast experience working as a consultant in system design, ergonomics, health and safety, human resources training, and employee development.
ICTSF Vice-President
Peter Skrine - New Zealand
Pete is currently the ICTSF Vice President and is active in maintaining the effective functioning and smooth operation of our federation. Based in New Zealand, he has been shooting clays since 2004 gaining himself extensive experience in both competition and involvement in committees at Club level as President, Vice President, Club Captain and Safety Officer. He has achieved success at the ICTSF World DTL and earned multiple national, regional and club-level medals in New Zealand Island, Provincial, District and Club Championships. Other interests are Hunting, Free Diving, Fishing and Tramping.
Pete has a background in Veterinary Science and High School Teaching. He has a small farm in the north of New Zealand where he breeds Stud Suffolk Sheep.
Miles has served as Secretary of the ICTSF since 2023 and is Vice Chairman of the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) in England. He is a qualified CPSA Coach, Safety Officer, Referee and is nearing completion of the Academyâs Tutor Program, working towards training and developing new Instructors, Coaches, Referees and Safety Officers.
Miles is well known in the clay pigeon shooting community for his support of grassroots clay-shooting initiatives and his involvement has led to multiple awards for his local county. He participates regularly in clay pigeon shooting Championships throughout the year. In addition to his involvement in shooting, Miles is an accomplished mechanic who operates his own business.
